例外的に欠けていたり、
未使用となっている番号の総称です。
コミックやDVDをイメージすれば分かりやすいかもしれません。
「欠けています」と言えばすみます。

この６巻からなるファイタじー小説では、３巻と５巻が欠番になっています。
