「その曲のさわりだけでも教えてくれない？」
「その映画の触りだけでも教えてくれない？」
この２つを比べると、多くの人が「さわり」を曲の始めの部分と誤解しているのがわかります。考えてみれば、曲のさわりを聞いても「タララ〜たら〜」と言われるだけでよくわかりませんよね。代わりに「サビの部分だけ教えて」と言えばなんとか分かるという経験はありませんか？
例）
The high point of the drama is Brutus’s betrayal.
そのドラマの触りはブルータスの裏切りだ。

繰り返される決り文句→サビ
the catchy part of a songや
the memorable phrase/melody of a songや
the chorus partなどでも同じ意味になります。
例）

一番いい部分
意味が広いので、必ずしも「触り」の意味にはならないので
少し注意が必要です。

そのドラマの一番いい部分は画像だよ。
例）
The best part of the drama is a scene where she blew up half of the city.
そのドラマの触りは女王が町を半分吹き飛ばすところだ。
