全然知らない、まるで見当がつかない、からっきしわからない
= I don’t have the slightest idea.
（ほんのわずかな考えでさえ浮かばない→見当もつかない）
直訳すると訳が分からなくなるので
「深い霧状態」でさえ持てないほど見えてこない。
I don’t have the slightest ideaのように
解釈すれば理解しやすくなります。
決り文句です。
例）
I didn’t have the foggiest idea what she was thinking about.
彼女が何考えてるか見当さえつかなかった。
例）
I didn’t have the foggiest idea what was going to happen to them.
彼らの身に何が起こるかは見当さえもつかなかった。

勝算ゼロ
「握りしめた雪玉ほどのチャンスもない」というイメージです。
have a snowball fightで「雪合戦をする」
play at snowballsでも同じ意味になります。

couldn’t care less
これ以上気にかけない事ができないほど気にかけない
→超どうでもいい
It couldn’t better.「これ以上はないってくらい最高」
I can’t agree with you anymore.「これ以上賛成できないってほど大賛成」
I can’t ask for anything more. 「これ以上は求めれないほど申し分ない」
例）
I couldn’t care less.
これ以上ないってほどどうでもいい。

not have the slightest ideaも覚えるべきですね。
